terms & conditions
These terms apply to all services provided by stillraw studio (“we”, “us”) to clients (“you”). By booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
We provide real estate and architecture photography, floor plans, room measurements, 3D floor plans, 3D visualization and aerial photography, as described on our website or in a written quote.
2. Booking
A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. You are responsible for providing accurate property details, including address, approximate square footage and access instructions.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the package price.
4. Property access and preparation
You are responsible for ensuring we can access the property at the scheduled time. If we cannot enter within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking is treated as a late cancellation. The property should be prepared before we arrive. Photos are taken as the property is presented. We do not move heavy furniture or clean.
5. Weather and aerial photography
Interior photography proceeds as scheduled. If weather affects exterior photos, we will retake them at no extra cost. Aerial photography depends on weather and airspace rules. If flying is not permitted or safe, the aerial portion is not charged.
6. Delivery
Photos are delivered within 24 to 48 hours of the shoot through an online gallery, unless otherwise agreed. Delivery times may be extended in exceptional circumstances, and we will notify you if this occurs.
7. Payment
An invoice is issued at delivery and is due within 7 days. Payment is accepted by credit card or Interac e-Transfer. Full-resolution files are released once payment is received. We may pause new bookings for clients with unpaid invoices.
8. Revisions
Minor colour and exposure adjustments requested within 7 days of delivery are free. Additional edits, such as object removal or virtual twilight, are charged at the rates listed on our website.
9. Copyright and usage license
stillraw studio retains copyright of all images, floor plans and visual materials. Upon full payment, the listing agent and their brokerage receive a non-exclusive license to use the materials to market the photographed property, including on MLS, websites, social media and print. Materials may not be sold, transferred, or provided to other agents, builders, publications or third parties without our written permission. We may use the materials in our portfolio and marketing.
10. Floor plans and measurements
Floor plans, room dimensions and square footage are approximate and provided for marketing purposes only. They are not suitable for legal, appraisal, construction or financing purposes. Buyers should verify all measurements independently. We are not responsible for decisions made based on these figures.
11. 3D visualization
Rendered visualizations are artistic representations based on available plans or measurements. Finishes, furniture, landscaping and lighting may differ from the actual property.
12. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to provide our services (such as names, contact details and property addresses) and do not sell or share it with third parties, except as required to deliver services (for example, scheduling, invoicing and gallery platforms). We avoid photographing personal items, documents and people.
13. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost sales or commissions.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking applies.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
